This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using this site, submitting a form, or using the chat on this site, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide when you request quotes, use the chat on this site, or contact us:
- Contact details: full name, email address, and mobile phone number
- Quote details: your age range, whether you use tobacco or nicotine, the type of coverage you are interested in (term life, mortgage protection, whole life or final expense, indexed universal life, or annuities), and how you describe your health
- Health-related responses: your answer to a general health question. We treat these responses as sensitive information (see Section 4).
- Anything you type into the chat on this site, and any information you share with us by phone, text message, email, or chat, including recordings and transcripts of those communications (see Section 6)
Information collected automatically when you visit:
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and referring URL
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7)
Advertising and attribution data: if you arrive from an ad or a link, we may record campaign identifiers (such as UTM parameters and click IDs) so we know which advertising brought you here.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and this site is not directed at minors.
2. How we use your information
- To fulfill your request: preparing quote options and connecting you with a licensed insurance agent
- To contact you, where you have given consent, by phone call, SMS text message, and email, including through automated dialing systems and prerecorded, artificial, or AI-generated voice messages (see Section 5 for how to withdraw consent at any time)
- To match your request with the insurance companies and products available in your state
- To measure advertising performance and attribute inquiries to campaigns
- To operate, secure, and improve our services, including quality review of communications
- To comply with insurance, telemarketing, and other legal obligations, and to prevent fraud
Automated tools and AI. We use automation and artificial-intelligence tools in our operations, for example to route and prioritize inquiries, transcribe and summarize calls, draft communications, and review quality. Insurance recommendations and decisions are made by licensed humans, a licensed agent and the issuing insurance company, not by AI. We contractually restrict our service providers from using your personal information to train their generalized AI models.
3. Who we share information with
- Licensed insurance agents working with LegacyLife Partners, to respond to your request
- Insurance companies (carriers), to obtain quotes and, if you proceed, to apply for coverage
- Service providers who operate on our behalf: our customer relationship management and lead-management system, the platforms that deliver our phone calls, text messages, email, and website chat, call-recording and transcription vendors, analytics and advertising-measurement providers, and website hosting
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or a regulator, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not permit the third parties above to use it for their own unrelated marketing. We never share your health-related responses for advertising purposes. Our use of advertising cookies (Section 7) may be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising under some state laws; you can opt out as described in Section 8.
Text-messaging opt-in data. Your mobile phone number and your text-messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The service providers that deliver our text messages receive this information only to send our own messages on our behalf, and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.
4. Sensitive information
Your health-related response is collected solely to identify the insurance companies and products you may qualify for, is shared only with licensed agents and insurance companies for that purpose, and is never used for advertising. We do not request medical records through this website. LegacyLife Partners is not a healthcare provider, and information collected here is not protected health information under HIPAA.
5. Consent to contact and how to withdraw it
You give us consent to contact you by checking the consent box on our quote form or on the chat on this site, or by asking one of our agents to text or call you. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any text message, using the unsubscribe link in any email, telling any agent who calls to place you on our internal do-not-call list, or emailing support@legacylifepartners.us. We honor withdrawal requests promptly and maintain an internal do-not-call list as required by law. Full text-messaging program terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
6. Call recording and monitoring
Calls with LegacyLife Partners and its agents may be monitored, recorded, and transcribed, including by automated transcription tools, for quality, training, and compliance. Where the law requires, you will be notified at the start of a call. If you do not wish to be recorded, tell the agent and we will accommodate where feasible or end the call at your request.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
We may use essential cookies (site function), analytics cookies (how the site is used), and advertising cookies and pixels, such as the Meta Pixel and similar tools, to measure advertising performance and improve campaigns. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, delete your information, receive a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising, limit the use of sensitive information, and appeal a decision we make on a rights request. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email support@legacylifepartners.uswith the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity (typically by matching the contact details we have on file) and respond within the time required by your state's law. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization.
9. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with insurance and telemarketing record-keeping laws, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Consent records (including form and chat submissions and their timestamps) are retained as proof of consent for as long as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS), access controls, and vendor due diligence, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party sites
Links to third-party websites (including insurance company sites) are governed by those parties' own privacy policies, which we do not control.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
